Three words to describe me are affable, brave, and dreamer (but I'm not the only one).
When I’m not teaching yoga, I am chasing around my two magical children, Lennon and Keeley, or perhaps out on the water surfing with hubs, or in the dance/yoga studio finding freedom through movement.
My ideal morning is eating a light brekkie, getting out on the water for a surf session, then indulging in a large second brekkie whilst taking my time drinking my fave hot beverage, oat milk matcha latte. This is all followed by chill yoga class or hot tub to rest and restore.
I dream about dancing on stage again and a week long family surf vacation, world peace, and equal rights.
I am grateful for mother earth, clean water, nourishing food, my family and friends.
Yoga has taught me that a practice is a process, to keep meeting myself where I'm at.
I love to teach because I love guiding others back to themselves.
Three words to describe my teaching style are creative, nourishing, and grounding.
As a teacher, I am always a student, always learning.
Music you might hear in my class is East Forest, Yo La Tengo, Sound Bowls or no music is a choice I like too.
My yoga experience includes a practice that began in my teenage years, Kids Yoga Training with Rainbow Kids Yoga 2009, 200hr at White Lotus 2010, and Level 1 & 2 Yoga Therapy RX at Loyola Marymount University 2015.
I am excited to be a part of the Harmony House community because it feels like home and how inspiring it's been to witness the dedicated community of yogis that come each day to practice.
