Introduction to Chair Yoga
Patanjali, the author of the Yoga Sutras, wrote the famous guiding principle, “sthira sukham asanam,” or “the pose should be comfortable and steady.” In this workshop, we welcome ALL bodies to receive the benefits of this ancient practice. Pull up a chair and let's get moving!
In this 75 minutes yoga class, we will modify classical yoga poses to make them more accessible to a wide range of abilities, using the chair as one of our tools in our toolbox. We will warm-up, strengthen, stretch, and focus on balance and breathwork. You will leave this class with a sequence you can practice at home!

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Chairs and additional props will be provided. Please note, you will not be asked to get up and down off the ground. This will be all chair yoga!
Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Workshops are non-refundable.
