Adrienne Smith

Hello my name is Adrienne Smith.

Three words to describe me are dedicated, independent, and compassionate.

When I’m not teaching yoga I enjoy being in nature, hiking, listening to music, learning something new, and making time for my own yoga practice!

My ideal morning starts with a mindfulness practice around sunrise, enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, and includes a warm beverage shared with loved ones.

I dream about making a difference in people's lives, and a world where each person can recognize and harness the beauty and power they hold within.

I am grateful for every challenge and opportunity.

Yoga has taught me that joy and discipline can coexist.

I love to teach others to cultivate a sense of compassion and gratitude from within through conscious breath and movement.

Three words to describe my teaching style are approachable, intentional, and grounded.

As a teacher, I enjoy teaching restorative, gentle, and hatha style classes, and witnessing students leave each class feeling more connected, accomplished, and supported than when they arrived.

Music you might hear in my class is everything from atmospheric sounds of nature to modern soulful instrumentals and vocals.

My yoga experience includes over a decade of dedicated and consistent yoga practice guided by a variety of incredible teachers, and a 200 hour Journey Inward Teacher Training led by Kelly Keene with support from Christina Campbell completed in March of 2025.

I am excited to be a part of the Harmony House community because I have been humbled by the one-of-a-kind community formed by the teachers, staff, students, and neighbors since I started practicing at Harmony House in 2019. Whether you come to the studio to interact with others or are more reserved, coming to Harmony House Yoga you truly feel and become part of a joyful, kind, committed, accepting, and loving community. Excited to be blessed with the opportunity to teach somewhere that has been so meaningful in my own yoga journey!
